IL-33 is a multifunctional cytokine discovered in 2005, which belongs to the new members of the IL-1 family. Through its receptor ST2, IL-33 activates NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathway , promotes production of Th2 cytokines and plays an important role in the occurrence as well as the development of many diseases .%IL-33是在2005年发现的一个多功能细胞因子，属于IL-1家族新成员。 IL-33通过受体ST2活化NF-κB和MAPK信号通路，促进Th2细胞因子的产生，在多种疾病的发生发展过程中起着重要的作用。
