As for some marine engineering bases with formidable natural conditions, the traditional dock building way has to be replaced with the flat ground building way in the construction of offshore platform. Some project is used as an example to emphasize the problems in the calculation and selection of scale parameters for the semi-submersible barge that transports offshore platform.
