The goal of the culvert ground treatment is to improve the bearing ability of foundation, reduce the settlement and uneven settlement. The normally used filling materials are summarized. Based on the design of Xiuyin expressway, the design of cushion with different filling materials is calculated and analyzed. The analysis and calculation show that the selection of material should fully consider the strength of the material, the stress dispersion angle and the economical efficiency.
