At present Chinese urban planning faces problems of general concepts, weak theories, and idealisticpractices. Urban planners should deal with the relationship of planning concepts, theories, practice, andinstitutions, analyze Chinese planning culture, and set up China's planning theoretical framework with rightplanning views.
