The article expounds on the problems, contradictions and severe challenges facing traditional industries in sustainable development and points outs that, traditional industries have a decisive position in national economic development, thus using the tendency to become information-based to promote their optimization and upgrading is the key point of accelerating the change of economic development mode. Using Sinopec as an example, it introduces the main measures to promote the harmonization of industrialization and the tendency to become information-based and accelerate the optimization and upgrading of petrochemical industry and forecasts the main points to put forth effort in order to promote the harmonization of industrialization and the tendency to become information-based in future.%阐述了传统产业在可持续发展中面临的问题、矛盾和严峻挑战，指出传统产业在国民经济发展中具有举足轻重的地位，以信息化推动其优化升级是加快转变经济发展方式的关键所在。以中国石化为例，介绍了推动两化融合、促进石化产业优化升级的主要举措。展望了未来推动两化融合的主要着力点。
