This paper summarizes the technical renovation of the distillation unit furnace in Dalian Petrochemicals Co. And discusses the renovation ideas and principles. According to the existing problems such as the high temperature of the external wall of the radiant chamber in the furnace, the failure of the preheater and low thermal efficiency, some measures including changing the lining of the radiant chamber and technical renovation for the preheating system have been taken to improve the thermal efficiency of the furnace.
