This research reports a study of language decay from the perspective of semantics, in an explicit sense, from perspectives of the relationship between the signifier and the signified which are Saussure's most important theory, the relationship between denotation and connotation, conversational implicature, as well as the relationship between language and culture. Through doing this, people can have a better understanding of the nature of language decay. At last, the writer briefly tells some bad results about language decay.
