医学英语语篇的主位功能探析

There are many long sentences in the English medical passage. Theme plays an important role in the comprehension of the English medical passage. This paper mainly analyzes the textual Theme, the topical Theme, the paragraph Theme and the mac⁃ro-Theme and their functions in the comprehension of the English medical passage.%　　主位对于理解与把握段落的思路有十分重要的作用，因此，要正确理解语篇，分析它们的主位是很有必要的。科技英语语篇段落中的长句多，结构复杂，理解它们比较困难，运用主位的相关理论阅读科技英语语篇，是比较好的理解科技英语语篇的方法，医学英语是科技英语的一个分支，运用主位的相关理论可以更好地理解医学英语语篇。
