基于偏振成像的目标轮廓增强技术

         

摘要

To solve the outline information of target obscure at low contrast, different surface roughness of target and background causing big different polarization characters of electromagnetic radiation, used polarization imaging technology to detect different polarization radiation with different targets and backgrounds and greatly enhanced target outline. Added rotation polarizer in intensity image system, obtained polarized images of target in different angles under shade, used Stokes parameters to calculate target polarization image, the polarization image of the target under the shadow and the low contrast target is processed. The results show that the target outline information can be greatly increased, the target boundary and texture information increase and the target outline is clearly under shade and is good for recognition under shade and in low contrast.%为解决低对比度下目标轮廓信息不明显的问题,基于目标与背景在表面粗糙度等方面的差异导致反射的电磁辐射在偏振特性上有较大差别问题,采用偏振成像技术通过对目标与背景不同偏振辐射的探测,大大增强目标的轮廓.在强度成像系统中加入可旋转偏振片,通过获取阴影下目标在不同角度的偏振图像,利用斯托克斯参数计算出目标的偏振度图像,对阴影下目标及低对比度目标的偏振度图像进行处理.结果表明:目标的轮廓信息能得到明显增强,图像中目标边缘及纹理信息增强多,且阴影下目标轮廓清晰,有利于进行阴影下及低对比度目标的识别.
