基于紫光微型LED和OFDM的可见光通信系统

         

摘要

为了实现更高的LED带宽和数据传输速率,提出一种基于紫光微型LED和正交频分复用的可见光通信系统.首先,通过一个5像素单元的内部阵列和一个10个像素单元的外部阵列来设计紫光微型LED,以匹配塑料光纤的几何形状.然后,为了实施OFDM的发射器和接收器的运行,生成一个实值OFDM波形和一个伪随机比特序列,使用正交振幅调制对随机比特序列进行调制.实验结果表明,与其它可见光通信系统相比,所提系统具有更高的数据传输速率和带宽.%To achieve higher LED bandwidth and data transmission rate, a new visible light communication system based on micro-violet LED and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is proposed. Firstly, the micro-violet LED design consists of an internal array of 5 pixel units and an external array of 10 pixel units, so as to match the geometry of the plastic fiber. Then, in order to implement the operation of OFDM transmitters and receivers, a real valued OFDM waveform and a pseudo random bit sequence are gen-erated, and the random bit sequence is modulated using quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM). Experimen-tal results show that, compared with other designs, the proposed design is superior in data transmission rate and bandwidth.
