Northeast region, as a cold region of China, has its own specific conditions. Its architectural form is informed by the climate, and the architectural style is of strong regional characteristics. The design of Daqing Highway Passenger Transportation Hub is an innovative exploration of architectural form in cold regions through three aspects as shape, structure, and skin, and is intended to establish a distinctive regional style.%东北作为我国的严寒地区,其建筑形态受到气候条件的制约,建筑风格也相应具有较强的地域特征.大庆公路客运枢纽站的设计对寒地建筑形态进行了创新性尝试,通过“形体、结构、表皮”三方面来进行建筑创作,力争塑造鲜明的地域风格.
