On the other hand, power imbalance and mobility issues will happen as well. Small cell enhancement has been introduced in LTE release 12. For higher layer en-hancement, dual connectivity is introduced to solve some of the mentioned problem above in heteroge-neous networks. In this paper, the benefits of dual connectivity and standard effect are described.
