海平面场景下WCDMA系统极限覆盖能力研究

摘要

Ultra far cover is a very important require-ment for mobile communication system, which is used widely in scences such as sea, desert, and grassland. Detail theoretical research on Sea-level WCDMA sys-tem coverage limit is presented in this paper. We tested sea-level WCDMA system coverage limit on Guangdong Huizhou inshore area. According to the results of the test data theoretical calculation, we ex-plored all the factors that have an impact on sea-level actual coverage, which will contribute to the future development of offshore coverage of 3G/4G network planning and construction.%超远覆盖是移动通信系统很重要的一项需求，广泛应用于海面、沙漠、草原等场景。本文对WCDMA系统海平面极限覆盖能力进行了详细的理论研究，并选取广东惠州近海一个场景进行海平面极限覆盖能力测试，根据测试结果对理论计算的数据进行了验证比较，对影响海平面实际覆盖的各项因素进行了探讨，有助于未来开展近海覆盖网络的3G/4G网络规划设计和工程建设工作。
