Aiming to recover copper and sulfur resources in an iron-copper ore from Australia and to reduce effectively the sulfur content in iron concentrates, a process consisting of flotation of sulfide minerals followed by magnetic separation of ferric minerals was adopted. In a closed-circuit test, Cu-S bulk flotation was conducted after the ore was ground to a fineness of -0.074 mm 70%. The obtained roughing concentrate was reground to a fineness of -0.074 mm 95% for Cu/S separation, and tailings was subjected to a low-intensity magnetic separation. Test resulted in 80.35% Cu recovery to a copper concentrate grading 19.93% Cu, 41.13% S recovery to a sulfur concentrate grading 32.75% S, and 89.44% Fe recovery to an iron concentrate grading 71.45% Fe and 0.34% S.%针对澳大利亚某含硫铁铜矿样,采用先浮选硫化矿物、后磁选铁矿物的原则工艺,可在有效降低铁精矿中硫含量的同时综合回收矿石中的铜、硫。
