Through analysis of the capacity, load and equipment state of the power sup-ply system in steel plants, the energy saving potential of the whole power supply and distri-bution system was tackled on the premise of ensuring the normal production power supply, which has reduced the power consumption of electrical equipment and improved the economic benefits.%通过对钢铁厂供配电系统容量、负荷及设备状况进行分析，在满足正常生产供电的前提下，对整个供配电系统进行节电潜力的挖掘，降低电气设备损耗，提高经济效益。
