The Supermagnag sensor for online monitoring of magnetic properties of sinter was introduced. By measuring magnetic permeability, the Supermagnag sensor could continuously monitor the sintering degree of sinter cake. Compared to the Permagnag sensor, its response time was significantly reduced (68 min for SIFA2).
