Chip breaking mechanism is a complex problem in machining.The cutting process of GH4169 material was modeled and simulated by using ABAQUS software to reveal the chip breaking mechanism of chip breaking groove and obtain the simulation results of the cutters with two different rake faces.The time variable data of stress,temperature,cutting force and total energy under different conditions were abstracted for comparative analysis.The results show that the cutting tool with circular chip breaking groove has better cutting performance.%断屑机理是机械加工中一个较为复杂的问题.利用有限元软件ABAQUS对GH4169材料的切削过程进行了建模与仿真,揭示了断屑槽的断屑机理,获得了两种不同前刀面刀具的仿真结果.提取不同条件下切削过程中应力、温度、切削力和总能量随时间变化的数据,通过对比分析表明,圆弧形断屑槽的刀具具有较好的切削性能.
