The tank management and inspection gauging system is confirmed to be used in suitable production unit of lubricant industry by analy- zing and comparing characteristics of the three tank gauging systems. The basic composition and measurement principle of HTG tank gauging system are mainly described. According to the measurement principle and the accuracy of pressure trans- mitter, the accuracy of oil conveying is elaborated and the minimum oil conveying height matched to the accuracy of oil blending is deduced. The feasibility of HTG tank gauging system used in the lubricant blending is elaborated and proved in theory and practice, which is based on the summary of various blending methods.
