Pro/E is one of the most wide-used software which has the strong 3d modeling and simulation analysis and so on. Aiming at the general machinery and standard parts which are the same except the dimensions, Pro/E provides an API-Pro/TOOLKIT to shorten the time of designing. This paper was about the compile of the source file, through dynamic link store the compile and connection of the program, the registeration and run of the program by Visual C + + and Pro/ TOOLKIT through DLL, and it also described the whole process of the parametric design, finally an example was given out to prove the method.
