哈佛大学Labrary项目对数字阅读时代图书馆服务的启示

     

摘要

Digital technologies and the Internet have changed people’s reading habits and the Harvard University Labrary project provides a new direction for the library information service in digital reading era. Labrary, a space provided for visitors and students to create and communicate, not only demonstrate knowledge, but also generate new knowledge in the interaction between visitors and creators, which makes Labrary featured as a communication space. In the digital reading era, the service mode of the library is changing, and has already achieved some success. Labrary reflects a new concept and form of library service in new era:the library is not only confined to the storage of information knowledge, but that the library is a place for knowledge communication which can produce new knowledge as a knowledge organization that can create information.%哈佛大学Labrary项目为数字阅读时代图书馆信息服务提供了新方向。Labrary是一个提供给访客和学生创作者交流的空间,其不仅展示知识,而且在访客和创作者的交流互动中产生新的知识,具有图书馆交流空间的特征。哈佛大学Labrary项目体现出新时期图书馆服务新形态的理念:图书馆不再只局限于存储信息知识,借出文献信息资料等传统服务方式,它还是一个知识交流的场所,在交流中能产生新的知识,是创造信息知识的机构。
