An experimental system for measuring the laser-generated sound is set up. Using Nd:YAG lasers to produce the laser-generated sound, a hydrophone is used to measure it. We analyze the characteristics of a single laser-generated sound, research the transmission characteristics of the laser-generated sound and use it to communicate in experiments. The conclusions are as follows: Firstly, it is available to use the laser-generated sound to communicate; Secondly , as the transmission distance increases, the attenuation speed of the laser-generated sound slows down, energy attenuation gets quicker in high frequency and slower in low frequency. The results of research are helpful to the development of laser-generated sound in the field of underwater communication.%建立了激光声测量实验系统,采用Nd:YAG激光器产生激光声信号,利用水听器测量激光声信号.通过实验分析了单个激光声信号的特征,研究了激光声信号的传输特性,进行了初步的激光声通信实验.结果表明,利用激光声作为通信声源具有可行性.随着传输距离的增加,激光声信号的衰减由快变慢,高频段能量衰减变快,低频段能量衰减变慢.该研究结果有助于激光声在通信领域的发展应用.
