钙质壳有孔虫溶蚀率和体表结构的影响

         

摘要

有孔虫是常见的海洋钙化组,是研究海洋酸化重要的实验物种之一.本研究选择浙江舟山谢家山海域的3种底栖有孔虫(毕克卷转虫、江苏小希望虫、透明筛九字虫),研究不同有孔虫壳体溶蚀和体表结构对海洋酸化的响应差异.研究配置不同pH值的人工海水环境(pH范围7.40~8.12之间),以6 d为一个培养周期,逐日观察鉴定有孔虫壳体变化情况.研究结果显示:(1)随着pH值降低、培养时长增加,各种有孔虫壳体溶蚀情况均加剧,出现壳体变薄透明、房室剥落等现象.pH为7.4时,三种有孔虫溶蚀率均达到最高值,毕克卷转虫、江苏小希望虫的最大溶蚀率分别为56.00%、61.33%,透明筛九子虫溶蚀率高达100%;(2)壳体厚度对溶蚀率影响较大,透明筛九字虫最易被溶蚀,对pH降低最为敏感,此外,壳体形态也对溶蚀率有一定影响;(3)pH 7.80可以界定为有孔虫出现显著溶蚀的阈值,透明筛九字虫可作为研究区海域海洋酸化的指标物种.%Foraminifera, a common marine calcification group, is one of the most important experimental species for studying ocean acidification. In this study, three species of benthic foraminifera (Ammonia beccarii, Elphidiella kiangsuensis, Cribronon vitreum) were selected from the tideflat of Xiejiashan, Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province to find the response of their wall structures to ocean acidification. The artificial seawater environment with different pH values (pH range of 7.40-8.12) was set up to study the change of foraminifera shells with daily observation and identification for 6 days. The results showed that: (1) With the decrease of pH value, the duration of culture increased, and the corrosion of all kinds of foraminifera husks intensified, resulting in the appearance of shell thinning and transparent and atrioventricular exfoliation.At pH 7.4,the dissolution rates of the three foraminifera species reached their highest values. The maximum dissolution rates of A. beccarii and E. kiangsuensis were 56.00% and 61.33%, respectively. The dissolution rates of C. vitreum were 100%. (2)The shell thickness has a great influence on the dissolution rate.The C.vitreum is the most susceptible to cor-rosion and is most sensitive to the pH decrease. In addition, the morphology of the shell also has certain influ-ence on the dissolution rate.(3)The pH 7.80 can be defined as the threshold value of significant dissolution of foraminifera.The C.vitreum could be used as the indicator species of marine acidification in the study area.
