摘要

Moll Flanders,written by British novelist Daniel Defoe,structures its narration of the life ex⁃perience of the heroine according to spatial scenes rather than temporal sequence. Moll’s control over space is the determining factor of her survival and freedom. By correctly reading and using the multiple dimensions of social space,Moll constructs and redefines a living space of her own,so that it is possible for her to break a⁃way from the restraints of the patriarchal society and gain the freedom to control her own life.
