PURPOSE: To prevent the direct transfer of a sublimable dye applied to the surface of a dyeable resin surface coated on a cellulosic cloth base from the dyeable resin surface to the external system. ;CONSTITUTION: This cloth for the sublimation transfer printing is provided with a cloth base 1 undyeable with a sublimable dye, a surface resin layer 2 dyeable with a sublimable dye and formed on the surface of the cloth base 1 and a protecting resin layer 4 formed on the surface of the surface resin layer and hardened by network-crosslinking. This sublimation transfer printing method comprises the coating of the surface of the cloth base with a resin dyeable with a sublimable dye, the proper dyeing of the coating layer of the surface of the obtained surface resin layer by sublimation transfer method, the coating of the surface of the dyed surface resin layer with a crosslinkable polymer resin forming network crosslinks by ultraviolet rays, electron rays or heating and the curing of the layer by network crosslinking with UV rays, electron beams or heat rays.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
