Objective To observe the efficacy and complications of low - energy extracorporeal shock wave lithotrip -sy ( ESWL) in the treatment of upper urinary calculi in infants and young children . Methods 41 cases of upper urinary calculi in infants and young children were treated with ESWL and the clinical data were analyzed retrospectively . Of the 41 infants and young children ,5 had acute renal failure , 27 had negative calculi, 14 had positive calculi, and 25 had hy-dronephrosis. Results The rate of stones discharged the same day after ESWL was 100% , 98% of the stones were cleared from the original places. 5 cases were treated twice. No serious complications were observed in all the 41 cases. Conclusion Low - energy ESWL is a safe and effective treatment for upper urinary calculi in infants and young chil -dren, so it should be considered the first choice to treat upper urinary calculi in infants and young children .%目的 观察低能量体外冲击波碎石(ESWL)治疗上尿路结石的疗效及并发症.方法 对41例婴幼儿上尿路结石患儿进行低能量ESWL治疗,其中急性肾功能衰竭5例,阴性结石27例,阳性结石14例,25例合并肾积水.结果 碎石当天结石排出成功率达100%,碎石部位结石清除率达98%,5例患儿行2次碎石,41例患儿均未出现严重并发症.结论 低能量ESWL治疗婴幼儿上尿路结石效果好,近期无严重并发症,是治疗婴幼儿上尿路结石的首选方法.
