The supercooling point and freezing point of Asian corn borer Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée) larvae from different geographic populations in Xinjiang were determined by LG220 supercooling point tester,and their cold resistance was evaluated.The results showed that there was significant difference between supercooling point and freezing point of non-diapause 5 instar larvae in different geographical populations of Xinjiang O.furnacalis (P <0.01).Among them,the cold resistance of the Urumqi population was the strongest,the supercooling point and the freezing point were-18.96 ℃ and-14.75 ℃,the cold resistance of the Kashgar population was the weakest,the supercooling point and the freezing point were -16.39 ℃ and-11.62 ℃.There was extremely significant difference between supercooling point and freezing point of diapause 5 instar larvae of the different geographical populations of Xinjiang O.furnacalis (P <0.01).Among them,the cold resistance of Tacheng population was the strongest and the average of supercooling point and freezing point was-20.81 ℃ and-16.20 ℃;The cold resistance of Kashi population was the weakest and the average points of supercooling point and freezing point were-18.46 ℃ and -14.48 ℃.The cold hardiness of larvae of northern Xinjiang corn borer (excluding Yili population) was stronger than that of southern Xinjiang population and the cold resistance of diapause larvae was stronger than that of non-diapause larvae.%利用LG220过冷却点测定仪测定亚洲玉米螟新疆不同地理种群幼虫的过冷却点和结冰点,并对其抗寒性进行了评价.结果表明,亚洲玉米螟新疆不同地理种群非滞育5龄期幼虫的过冷却点和结冰点之间存在极显著差异(P<0.01),其中乌鲁木齐种群的抗寒性最强,过冷却点和结冰点平均为 18.96、14.75℃,喀什种群的抗寒性最弱,过冷却点和结冰点平均为 16.39、-11.62℃;在滞育5龄期幼虫的过冷却点和结冰点之间存在极显著差异(P<0.01),其中塔城种群的抗寒性最强,过冷却点和结冰点平均为-20.81、-16.20℃,喀什种群的抗寒性最弱,过冷却点和结冰点平均为-18.46、-14.48℃.亚玉米螟北疆种群(不含伊犁种群)幼虫的抗寒能力强于南疆种群,滞育幼虫的抗寒能力强于非滞育幼虫.
