近10年来，鄂榆地区经济激进式增长，形成了独特的“鄂榆模式”，已经引起学术界的关注。为此，运用西方经济地理学的新产业区理论，从鄂榆地区的发展条件入手，总结了“鄂榆模式”的经济性质及基本特征，指出了“鄂榆模式”对我国西部地区经济发展的启迪作用。%In recent 10 years,the radical economic growth of Erdos-Yulin Region( EYR ),which has formed an unique 〞Erdos -Yulin Model〞,has attracted academic attention in the resources -rich region. Therefore,by means of new industrial district theory in contemporary west economic geography,the paper starts with the conditions of the regional development,and summarizes the economic nature and some characteristics of 〞Erdos-Yulin Model〞. At last,the author insists that Erdos-Yulin model is of enlightenment to the devel-opment of west China.
