Female images in Zhou Bida’s women epitaph can be divided into two categories. The one comes from the noble or office family;the other are servants of low position. The former as a daughter-in law, a wife and a mother, bravely walk out of the boudoir, exhort or direct intervent government affairs, prison suit, of the Lord, even directly involved in the"foreign affairs", breaking the rule of the Con-fucian tradition of "woman no foreign affairs". In addition, the romantic descriptions for his nurse, shows Zhou Bida’s informal status of the open eye.%周必大女性墓志铭中的女性形象可分为两类,一是官宦家族的女性,即受皇家册封的外命妇;一是地位较低的妾﹑婢仆。其中处于官宦之家的女性在担任其人妇﹑人妻﹑人母的角色之外,勇敢地走出闺房,劝勉乃至直接干预夫君﹑子孙的政务﹑狱讼之事,或者代其亡夫直接参与“外事”,打破“妇人无外事”的儒家传统准则;另外对其乳母孟媪的传奇化描写一文孤篇独出,又显示了周必大不拘身份地位的开放眼光。
