摘要

To the Lighthouse is Virginia Woolf's representative classical work piece among stream of consciousness novels. Through Lily’s inner struggle from abandonment to reflection then to aloofness above the world, the novel reveals the female’s perplexing feelings in realizing their ideals in a man-dominated society, thereby introduces the core that only a dual sex idea can completely liberate women. Lighthouse Keeping which puts the lighthouse as the center clue throughout the book, is writing by Jeanette Winterson. As being Jeanette Winterson’s representative of consciousness novel, the novel records the silver child learned to tell stories to find love, and grow to a dual sex artist. The novel likewise holds the core of feminism.
