The main task of the higher vocational colleges is to train skilled personnel needed by the country. As an important part of higher vocational education, art education plays a unique role in cultivating students and can improve the comprehensive quality of college students from different aspects. The paper presents an effective way of art education in the construction of harmonious campus culture in the higher vocational colleges.%高职院校的主要任务是培养国家需要的技能型人才，艺术教育作为高职教育中的重要组成部分对学生的培养有其独特的作用，可以从不同方面提高大学生的综合素质。文章提出了艺术教育在高职院校和谐校园文化建设中的有效途径。
