“第六代”导演拍摄影片的题材选择不同于他们的前辈，他们影片中所呈现的是我们身边的“普通人”，甚至很多人是我们以往的文学作品和电影作品多不涉及的边缘人，电影艺术对弱势群体的关注是一种人文精神的表现%　　“Sixth Generation” film directors’ films focus on the ordinary people around us, which is quite different from their predecessors. Some of the ordinary people that they show to us are even the marginal people who are seldom described or concerned in literary works or films. The film focus on vulnerable groups is a humanistic spirit of the performance.
