VOA时事新闻语篇的元话语特征探析

摘要

元话语是VOA时事新闻英语语篇的重要构篇机制。基于自建VOA时事新闻语料库，运用语料库分析软件AntConc3．2．1w，能统计出元话语在时事新闻语篇中的分布情况。元话语的广泛分布在构建新闻英语语体中发挥了重要作用，时事新闻英语中元话语的三种运用模式能够很好地引导听众理解各类说话者的情感态度。%Metadiscourse is an important textual mechanism of VOA news discourse. Based on a self-built corpus of VOA topical news discourse and with the help of the concord tool ofAntConc3.2.1w software, the distribution of metadiscourse elements in news discourse is investigated. The wide use of metadiscourse contributes a lot to the realizing of news＇ genre features. In addition, thethree modes in VOA topical news discourse can lead listeners to better understand all kinds of speakers affective attitude towards news event.
