量子尺寸效应诱导的选择性分子吸附和自组装结构

     

摘要

报道了在纳米铅岛上生长有机半导体分子红荧烯形成的二维自组装结构.在较低的覆盖度下,由于铅岛的量子尺寸效应,不同厚度的铅衬底对红荧烯分子的相互作用不同,红荧烯分子优先吸附在铅岛的偶数层,形成规则的自组装结构.随着红荧烯覆盖度的增加,当红荧烯盖满整个铅岛表面时,由于不同层数的铅对红荧烯的作用不同,红荧烯薄膜发生结构相变,形成了一种新的自组装结构.在这种结构中,观察到红荧烯薄膜的应力释放条纹.%The selective adsorption and self-assembled structures of rubrene molecules on the nanoscale of Pb islands has been reported in this paper. At the low coverage, rubrene molecules are prior to be adsorbed on the even layers of Pb, since the density of state near Fermi level of even layers of Pb is larger than that of odd layers of Pb. When the coverage increases to one monolayer, rubrene molecules coverer the entire surface of Pb island; different surface work function induced rubrene to make phase transition changing into another self-assembly structure.
