Hemingway’s Out of Time is a story of a young man’s unsuccessful attempt of go-fishing. In this story,his iceberg theory is well manifested on the the use of writing skill of dislocation and reflection in the characterization of the awkward state of the pitiful Peducci and the reflection of the subtle relationship between the young man and his girl friend. In the short story ,dis-junction serves as an rhetoric device of the characterization and the whole structure ,and the dis-junction of Puccini also reflects the conflict between the young man and his girl friend ,gives the story a tint of beauty and artistic taste.%海明威的《禁捕时刻》讲述了一个年轻男子的一次失败的钓鱼经历。塑造了佩多齐这个小人物的窘迫形象并且映现了存在于主人公与其女友之间微妙的关系。作品中，错位既是人物塑造的手段又是整个故事的一个结构性表现手法，映照的运用又将年轻男子与佩多齐的接触与年轻男子与他女友之间的冲突联系起来，使得整个故事既有具体明确的陈述又有若隐若现的暗示，为小说增添特别的审美情趣，体现了作家高超的创作技巧。
