薛忆沩的深圳提喻法--论《出租车司机》的都市想象

The Taxi Driver, Xue Yiwei’s collection of short stories about “Shenzhenese” was published in 2013. It is a classical attempt of urban writing. In these stories, Xue Yiwei tried to pay a tribute to modernist city images represented by the works of James Joys. On the other hand, he also managed to show his own style of urban writing. He used the image of Shenzhen as a distinctive background to reveal the mental experience of city dwellers. How to comprehend and express the modern urban experience is a difficult problem faced by all the contemporary writers.
