STM中量子隧穿效应原子模型的计算机模拟

         

摘要

首先介绍了STM中原子的量子隧穿效应,并进行了量子力学分析。接着用Maya2013模拟了隧穿效应和STM扫描过程,最后研究了隧道电流和探针表面的距离的关系式,并绘制了其关系图像。图像表明隧道电流对针尖与样品的距离是很敏感的,当针尖与样品的距离增加0.1 nm,隧道电流将会成指数级的变化。所以控制针尖与样品的距离和针尖的大小对实验有至关重要的作用。%Firstly,quantum tunnel effect of atoms in STM is introduced in this paper and quantum mechanics analysis is carried out. Next,tunnel effect and STM scanning process are simulated with Maya2013. Finally, we examine the relationship between tunneling current and the distance of the probe surface, and draw its graph,which shows that the tunneling current is very sensitive tothe distance between the tip and sample. As the distance between the tip and the sample increases 0.1 nm,the tunneling current will alter exponentially. Therefore,harnessing the distance between the tip and the sample and the size of the tip is critical to the suc-cess of the experiment.
