从土地利用、人口集聚和社会经济发展等方面来看,广东新一轮城镇化应当"两翼展开、中心突破".理由是粤东西北地区有更多便宜的土地可资利用,投资的成效更大;每亿元GDP增长承载的人口量更大,即经济增长对城镇化的促进效果更好. 基于广东社会经济发展全局,还应防止超大城市过度膨胀,改善小城镇的发展条件,努力建成一条由东西两翼展开向北合拢的弓形大城市带,并重点沿"京珠、京广"建成一条箭状城镇带.%From three aspects, which are land use, population agglomeration and socio -economic development, a new round of Guangdong urbanization should be unfolded from the east and west, and breakthrough from the north of Guangdong. The reason is that there are more chip land which can lead more effective investment in the east, north and west of Guangdong; and there are greater amount of population can be born by a billion in GDP growth, which is more effect on urbanization promoted by economic growth. Based on the overall socio-economic development, Guangdong also should prevent the megacities excessive expansion, improve the development conditions of small towns, effort to build a bow-shaped city belt witch start from the east and west, close at the north, and an arrow-shaped city along the Beijing-Zhuhai line and Beijing-Guangzhou line.
