老子历览前贤，借古用今，以“人民至上”观念为核心，以治国理政为旨归，把本体论、认识论、人生论和辩证论延伸、贯通、落实到人类社会特别是领导者的治国理政层面，形成由世界观统摄指导并具有民本性等显著特征的既理性又实用的领导哲学思想体系；其内容涵盖了领导目标、领导原则、领导决策、领导用人、领导思维、领导修养、领导作风、领导艺术等方面，对当代领导工作具有重要借鉴意义。%After reading through the books by former worthies ,drawing lessons from the ancient times for the contemporary ,with the idea of“people supremacy”as the core ,with administrating the country and the politics as the gist ,Laozi expanded ,and linked up ontology ,epistemology ,life philosophy and dialectical theory ,and then he applied all of them to the administration of the country and the politics of human beings ,and even leaders .Finally ,he made them a rational and practical thinking system of leadership philosophy which had the characteristics of administration ,guidance and people-orientation as a philosophic world view .The con-tent of this system covers leadership target ,leadership principle ,leadership decision -making ,leadership employing ,leadership thinking ,leadership accomplishment ,leadership style ,and leadership art ,which provides a reference to the contemporary leader-ship work .
