Objective To investigate the effect of Banhong injection on plasma resistin and leptin concentrations in the patients with acute cerebral infarction and discuss its mechanism.Methods 80 patients with cerebral infarction were divided to control group and treatment group.Each group had 40 cases respectively.Control group received ordinary therapy, and treatment group received ordinary therapy and Danhong injection.Plasma samples were obtained on admission and at days 1, 2, 3, 7, and 14 after cerebral infarction in the patients.Plasma resistin and leptin concentrations were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results Pre-treatment, the difference of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores between treatment group and control group was not significant (P >0.05) .Posttreatment, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale scores in treatment group were significantly lower than those in control group (P 0.05) .However, at days 1,2,3,7, and 14 after cerebral infarction, plasma resistin and leptin concentration in treatment group were obviously lower than those in control group (all P 0.05);治疗后,治疗组美国国立卫生院神经功能缺损评分较对照组显著下降(P0.05),人院后第1、2、3、7和14d,治疗组血浆抵抗素和瘦素浓度显著低于对照组(P<0.05).结论:丹红注射液可能通过抑制脑梗死后炎性反应,从而达到改善神经功能的目的.
