Objective To explore the clinical significance of changes on serum TGF-β1, IL-18, MMP-3 and CRP levels in patients with rheumatoid artliritis(RA). Methods 80 patients with RA were divided into 2 groups: ① stable stage group (n =40) , ② active stage group(n =40), 40 healthy people served as control groups. The serum TGF-β1( with RIA) , IL-18, MMP-3 (with ELISA) and CRP(with immunoturbiodimetry) levels were determined in 80 patients with RA and 40 controls. Results The serum level of IL-18 was significantly higher in stable stage group and active stage group than that in control groups (all, P0.05) , but the serum level of CRP has risen significantly inactive stage group than that in control group (P0.05),而活动期组则显著高于正常对照组(P<0.05).结论:RA患者血清TGF-β1、MMP-3、IL-18 和CRP可能参与了RA的发病机制的发生及病情进展过程,该类测定对于了解病情和预后有一定帮助.
