在新型冠状病毒肺炎(COVID-19)大流行期间,世界卫生组织(WHO)强调对残疾人和非急症眼病患者的护理、安全、记录的革新以及将眼保健进一步纳入卫生系统。2020年1月30日,世界卫生组织宣布新冠肺炎疫情为"国际关注的突发公共卫生事件"。
