Objective To evaluate the association between T174M polymorphisms of angiotensiongen (AGT) and essential hypertension (EH) susceptibility with Meta-analysis. Methods The literatures met the inclusion criteria with regards to relationship between T174M polymorphisms of AGT and EH were searched in electronic databases. The meta-analysis software RevMan 5.0 was applied for investigating heterogeneity and for merging effect values. Publication bias was assessed by STATA 11.0 software. Results A total of 1 577 cases of essential hypertension and 1 383 controls in 8 literatures were included in this Meta analysis. It was determined that the effect sizes of essential hypertension and T174M polymorphism in total population were not statistical significance. According to the color of skin, the analysis of subgroups revealed that OR values of C:T were 0.33 (95% CI = 0.15 ~ 0.73, P< 0.01), Oft values of CC:TT were 0.32 (95% CI = 0.11 ~ 0.95, P= 0.04) and OR values of CC+CT: TT were 0.62 (95% CI = 0.47 ~ 0.81, P < 0.01) in yellow race, while there was no statistical significance in other race. Conclusions In yellow race, the C allele and CC genotype of T174M polymorphisms in AGT may reduce the risk of EH, but there was no significant correlation between T174M polymorphisms and EH in other race.%目的:应用Meta分析评价血管紧张素原(AGT)基因T174M多态性与原发性高血压(EH)相关性.方法:检索并筛检数据库中符合纳入AGT基因T174M多态性与EH关系的文献,应用RevMan5.0对结果进行异质性分析和效应值合并,并用Stata11.0评估发表偏倚.结果:共纳入8篇文献,共计1577例EH患者及1383例对照.Meta分析显示,总体人群T174M基因多态性与EH的效应值不具统计学意义.按肤色进行亚组分层分析,黄种人C:T的OR=0.33(95% CI=0.15~0.73,P<0.01),CC:TT的OR=0.32(95%CI=0.11 ~0.95,P=0.04),CC+CT:TT的OR=0.62(95% CI=0.47 ~ 0.81,P<0.01),在其他人群无统计学意义.结论:黄种人AGT基因T174M多态性的C等位基因及CC基因型能降低患EH风险,在其他人群中相关性尚不明确.
