How to develop the competitive capacity of the students in university willhas been one of the important tasks to produce excellent talents. University physical teachers as us,should take imparting knowledge and educating people as the top priority to lay stress on the guide and developing of the competitive consciousness and capacity of the students in the teaching procedure by taking advantage of the particularities of physical education.%从竞争能力的内涵与构成入手，通过分析当代大学生身体心理素质的现状，提出了高校体育教学中应培养学生竞争能力，包括培养学生的竞争意识、运动能力、创新素质、承受挫折的能力、组织才能和人际交换的能力以及发挥个人优势能力等。
