Objective To comprehend the status and influence factors of depression of the caregivers of disabled elders in Huanggu District of Shenyang City, so as to provide evidence for improving the physical and mental health of caregivers. Methods With convenience sampling, 265 family caregivers of the disabled elders in Huanggu District of Shenyang city were investigated with The Basel (Barthel) index rating scale, Self rating Depression Scale (SDS) and social support rating scale (SSRS). The multiple stepwise r egression analysis was used to discuss the influence factors of depression. Results Among 265 caregivers of disabled elders, 40.4%of them had depression and their score of self rating depression scale was 53.21 ±4.35. Multiple stepwise regression analysis indicated that family monthly income, Barthel index, SSRS score, time of caring, daily care time had entered the regression equation. Conclusion Depression exists commonly in family caregivers of disabled elders and the 5 factors including family economic status, disability, social support, time of caring and daily care time mainly exert influence on depression. It is necessary to strengthen the cooperation among hospitals, communities and nursing homes to provide more professional and psychological supports to the caregivers so as to alleviate their psychological pressure and improve their subjective feeling, and quality of life.%目的：了解沈阳市皇姑区失能老人家庭照护者的抑郁状况及其影响因素，为提高照护者的身心健康提供依据。方法采用方便抽样，对沈阳市皇姑区265名失能老人的家庭照护者进行调查。采用巴塞尔指数评定量表评价居家失能老人的日常活动能力，抑郁自评量表和社会支持量表评价照护者的抑郁和社会支持情况。采用二分类Logistic回归分析家庭照护者抑郁情绪的影响因素。结果265名失能老人家庭照护者中，40.4%存在抑郁情绪，抑郁得分（53.21±4.35）分。二分类Logistic回归分析显示，失能老人家庭照护者抑郁的主要影响因素为家庭月收入、失能老人巴塞尔指数、社会支持得分、照护年限、每日照护时间。结论沈阳市皇姑区失能老人家庭照护者的抑郁检出率较高，且家庭经济状况、失能程度、社会支持水平、照护时限和每日照护时间5个因素是影响抑郁的主要因素。需加强医院、社区以及养老机构的配合，给予失能老人照护者专业的照护技术支持、心理支持和帮助其维护良好的社会支持，以达到有效缓解照护者的心理压力，改变不良主观感受，缓解抑郁情绪的目的。
