Based on the principle proposed by Smith on the array of thin metallic wires and the cyclic structure of split-ring resonators (SRR) ,w hose permittivity (ε) and permeability (μ) are both nega-tive in some frequencies ,the circular structure of SRRs is modified and a new split-ring resonator with symmetric structure is proposed .Compared to the characteristics of Smith′s SRRs ,this kind of SRRs can also achieve the double negative properties in a particular range of frequency and is symmetrical a-round with a more rational pattern of electrical current distribution and better electromagnetic per-formance .%基于Smith提出的金属细线阵列与开口谐振换(SRRs)周期结构能在某一频段内实现双负特性的原理,对圆形SRRs结构进行了改进,提出了一种不相互嵌入、对称的开路谐振环结构。与Smith提出的谐振结构相比,该结构也能够实现特定频域的双负特性,且结构上下、左右都具有对称性,电流分布形态更加合理,电磁性能更加优良。
