The elastic-plastic line-spring model is proposed to analyse the dynamicfracture of a cracked beam of ductile material in present paper. It can be expected from thenumerical results that this method for the analysis of dynamic fracture under elastic-plasticconditions will be valuable due to its computational simplicity.
