The rough set theory is based on the equivalence relation of the information system. Every attribute set of the information system determines the equivalence relation of the domain. For an arbitrary set of the objects, whichequivalence relation is equivalent?The Problem is needed to be considered in the Practical aPPlication. This PaPer is to transfer the information system into a formal context and then give the answer by the uPPer aPProxima-tion of the formal concePt.%粗糙集是建立在信息系统上的等价关系的基础上，信息系统上每个属性子集构成论域上的一个等价关系。任意给定论域的一个对象集合，它们关于哪个等价关系是等价的？这个问题是实际应用时需要考虑的。本文通过把信息系统转化为一个形式背景，由概念格中形式概念的外延的上近似给出上面问题的解答。
