Objective To discuss the relation between testicular microlithiasis and the cause of male infertility. Methods We diagnosed the patients with the testicular microlithiasis from the 1503 cases of testicular diseases by the ultrasonogra-phy in our department. We measured bilateral testicular size, observed its internal echoes and mass or not. Epididymal and spermatic vein were observed at the same time. And then, color doppler flow was applied to gain the testicular blood condition. At last, we checked out the patients with infertility according to the laboratory diagnosis and clinical history. Results There was a high percentage in the cases of testicular microlithiasis combined with infertility causes ( P <0. 001). In the patients of testicular microlithiasis combined with infertility, the proportion of other causes of infertility was also high ( P <0. 05). However, the hemodynamic parameters in these cases were no significant abnormity. Conclusion Testicular microlithiasis were associated with the causes of male infertility, it is easier to cause male infertility when both exist simultaneously. The ultrasound could be used for long-term follow-up.%目的 探讨睾丸微石症与男性不育症病因的关系.方法 对1503例睾丸疾病患者进行超声检查,测量双侧睾丸大小,观察内部回声及有无占位,同时观察附睾及精索静脉情况,然后进行彩色多普勒超声检查,了解睾丸及精索血流状况,从中确诊睾丸微石症病例,同时根据临床病史及实验室诊断检出不育症患者.结果 睾丸微石症合并不育症病因的比例较高(P ＜0.001),不育症合并睾丸微石症的患者中,其他不育症病因所占比例也较高(P＜0.05).而这些病例的血流参数无明显异常.结论 睾丸微石症与男性不育症的病因相关,且两者同时存在时更容易导致不育症的发生,超声检查可作为长期随访的手段.
