The rulers of Egypt took a relatively tolerant policy towards the Jews during the Hellenistic period;they could build up the Jewish community in Egypt, and had the right to manage their affairs as well as freedom of religious belief. These policies made the number of Jews who lives in Egypt for the first time reached the maximum. With the population increase of Jews, the society became stable, which promoted the prosperity of Jewish culture in Egypt;the influence of Jewish culture on the Greek and Christian culture was significant.%希腊化时期，埃及统治者允许境内的犹太人建立犹太社区，实行自治管理，并享有宗教信仰自由。这些相对宽容的政策促进了犹太文化在当地的繁荣。日益繁荣的犹太文化也在某些方面影响了希腊文化和基督教文化。
