我国出入境旅游的迅猛发展不仅突显了旅游涉外性强这一特点，也对旅游从业人员的职业能力提出了更高、更全面的要求。高职院校旅游专业英语教学应以旅游市场、职业能力为导向，将实践教学与改革与时俱进，适应旅游市场要求。针对高职院校旅游专业英语教学中亟待解决的问题，开展职业能力为导向的双语教学探索，有机整合英语教学与专业课教学，培养高素养的旅游英语人才，使他们具有较强的就业核心竞争力和职场生存能力。% The rapid developm ent of inbound and outbound tourism in C hina not only show s strong foreign-related characteristics, but also puts forw ard higher and m ore com prehensive requirem ent for staff's vocational ability w orking on tourism . The English teaching in tourism m ajor of higher vocational colleges should be oriented w ith tourism m arket and vocational ability. Practical teaching and reform should be advanced w ith tim es to adapt to the requirem ent of tourism m arket. A ccording to the problem s needed to be solved in its teaching, it develops the exploration of bilingual teaching oriented w ith vocational ability. It integrates English teaching and specialized courses teaching for cultivating high-qualified tourism English talents so that they are qualified w ith stronger em ploym ent core com petition and occupational living ability.
